Staff Bios

Since 1998, we have been recognized as, among other things, one of the best salons for color and curly hair. Each of our talented stylists completes a year-long, intensive educational program that focuses on all aspects of cutting and coloring for all hair types and textures.

We use an innovative peroxide-free enzyme coloring process (which is especially beneficial for curly hair) that preserves the natural hair structure. Unlike most salons, we use ammonia-based color only on the new growth, and the ends are treated with a semi-permanent refresher to add shine and conditioners. This keeps all hair types in the best possible condition by limiting processing.

Redken 5th Avenue has recognized this extra care and attention to detail by awarding us with their prestigious "Elite" status. We are the only Salon in central Texas to achieve this honor and it places us in the company of fewer than one hundred salons nationwide. We are honored to be a Redken Elite Salon.

While we appreciate the formal recognition from Redken and local publications, our focus is always giving our guests not only the best possible hair, but the best possible experience. Everyone's hair is different (and with curly hair that's twice as true!). We color treat as naturally as possible, cut with the hair's texture in mind, and aim to give you the best results possible that you can replicate at home. Results you can live with, results that leave you feeling and looking great!
